Your privacy is important to us. At Luz de Arcano we do not go out of our way to collect personal information. We only collect the bare minimum needed for you to enjoy the app.

Information we collect

• Email address: As your method of account access.
• Learning progress: Cards studied, quiz scores, and XP, to personalize your experience.
• Subscription data: Subscriptions are processed through Apple. We do not store payment data.

AI-powered features and third-party data sharing

The **Personal Reading** feature uses third-party AI services to identify your cards and interpret your spreads. When you use this feature:

• Anthropic (Claude): Your photo of the tarot card spread, the identified cards, and your question are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to identify the cards and generate the interpretation.

This data is sent **only when you actively use the Personal Reading feature**. Photos and questions are processed in real-time and is not stored by Anthropic beyond what is needed to process your request. No personal profile data (such as your email, learning progress, or subscription information) is ever shared with Anthropic.

How we use your information

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide and improve the service
• Sync your progress across devices
• Send you notifications about your learning (if enabled)

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with Anthropic only as described in the "AI-powered features" section above, solely to provide the Personal Reading feature. Outside of this, your personal data is not shared with any third parties.
